We’re off to Poland today! There are several Polish Christmas customs that today’s host, Steve Webb, especially likes.
Our quest to learn new languages in which to say “Merry Christmas” takes us to the Czech Republic, where not only do we learn this, but we learn some of the Czech customs, including an unusual entree that is included in the traditional Christmas meal.
As a special bonus, we hear Canadian singer, Cat Jahnke’s beautiful song, “Rise Up, Shepherd, And Follow”, from her Christmas CD “O Night Divine”.
Being a Sunday, James and Steve talk about another part of the Biblical account of the birth of Jesus, the Messiah. Today, we learn about the shepherds’ role in the story of the first Christmas.
